Very, very happy and very very exhausted in announcing these new things right here. Some of this has been in the works for over a year, while some of it just blew into town a few days ago… either way, I’m very proud to be showin off two new records and the first installment of my collaboration with singer, songwriter, poet, story teller, all around awe inspiring Billy Sedlmayr.

Below you’ll find digital copies of my new full length with Taraf de Tucson, None Of This Is Mine as well as my new solo release, Where The Bad Ones Go. Both of these will be for sale on the upcoming European tour and will also be available online in digital form. Physical copies should be available for online purchase in the coming weeks. Over the last year and a half I’ve gotten to know Billy and am still hanging on every word he says and every story he leaves lying around. He’s a cool breeze on a Tucson summer day. Taraf De Tucson & Vox Urbana – La Negra Tomasa

Taraf has been out of the saddle for a little while due to recording, euro travels, spiritual time traveling duties, etc…. To make up for that we are going to do a string of monthly shows entitled BALKUMBIA. Every month we will be together different bands/ dj’s/ any true gypsy reggaeton performers to create the greatest Gypsy and Cumbia dance night that the southwest has ever seen.

Our first installment will feature Tucson’s one and only super cumbia group, Vox Urbana. Described as “Raw Cumbia from the heat of the Sonoran Desert” these guys and gal are the real deal. And keeping the filthy party going through the night will be DJ Dirtyverbs by of Mexico to bring you the greatest Cumbia from around the globe.

This will happen Friday March 25th at good ol Club Congress here in Tucson, AZ. Don’t miss it!
